The Default Appearance for objects on your diagram is now set from a right-click option
The default appearance for objects on your diagram (the appearance they take if they do not have a style or an appearance setting of their own), has moved from the Diagram Properties dialog to being a right-click option on the New Objects palette.
How To...
To set the Default appearance for objects on your diagram:
Right-click the New Objects palette.
- Click Default
Appearance.
Notes
- You cannot set a default shape for a diagram. If you select default
when defining your shape in the palette all objects created from this
shape will be drawn as a rectangle, and all lines will be drawn without
line endings (arrowheads).
- For more information about default appearance options, please see the Quick Reference topic: FAQs: What happens if I select Default as an appearance, style or symbol setting? in the main help (Click Show to show the table of contents, open Quick Reference and then click the topic name).
