Corporate Publisher enhancements

1. Corporate Publisher is now fully compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
2. New Property: Use UUIDs in HTML Page Names

   The option to use UUIDs in page names (e.g. diagram8ff19da05b8d11da8752000802941a44.htm instead of diagram1.htm) is now controlled in the Publication Set via a property in the HTML section of the General tab. Options for this property are:

   • No - all pages are named <objecttype><objectid>. e.g. diagram1, process3, technology156 etc.
   • Diagram Pages - Diagram Pages will be named <diagram> followed by the UUID of the diagram, object pages will be named process1 etc.
   • Object Pages - Object Pages will be named <objecttype> followed by the UUID of the object, diagram pages will be named diagram1 etc.
   • All Pages - both Diagram and Object Pages will be named <objecttype> followed by the UUID of the object

   The default setting is Diagram Pages.

   Note: previously, diagram pages were automatically named with the UUID; this could be overridden by using the Registry key: Use UUIDs=No. This setting is no longer read and you must set Use UUIDs in HTML Page Names to No if you do not want to use UUIDs.

3. Corporate Publisher now uses the TEMP folder for Microsoft Word production

   Microsoft Word has a known issue when working on a networked drive (notably on Citrix servers). An OLE server can cause production of Word documentation to fail.

   Word documentation production is now done initially in the temp folder (defined by the TEMP environment variable - or TMP if TEMP not defined). Once production has finished and Word has shut down, the output file is copied to the required destination folder.

4. Two new folders have been added to the Publication Set General properties tab

   They are:

   • Diagram Hierarchy - this contains all the properties to do with calculating the diagram hierachy
   • Miscellaneous - this contains three new properties:
     1. Primary Diagram Type - in the case where an object is the parent of more the one diagram, then the child diagrams detailed by the property Primary Diagram Type are to be listed first, in alphabetical order if there is more than one
     2. Secondary Diagram Type - similarly, diagrams with the diagram type detailed by the property Secondary Diagram Type are to be listed next, again in alphabetical order if there is more than one
     3. Suppress Common Child Diagram Properties - if set to any of the options other than No then Corporate Publisher will automatically suppress reporting of objects and their properties on certain diagram pages. i.e. only the diagram picture and the properties of the diagram itself will be reported. This will happen regardless of the Layout settings in the Publication Set.
5. New properties have been added to the Publication Set General > Scope section

   They are:

   • Report Duplicate Diagram Instances - if set to Yes then a diagram will be reported every time it is selected in the diagram hierarchy tree
   • Show Diagram Object Associations - determines whether or not to restrict associations reported to only those objects that are associated to objects present on the diagram
   • Diagram Types to Exclude - this new dialog replaces the individual diagram type properties
   • Exclude Named Diagram Types - this property determines whether or not to exclude the diagrams listed by the property Diagram Types to Exclude
   • Exclude Non-Validated Diagrams - if set to Yes then regardless of any other settings, only those diagrams that have had the Validated check-box set in their properties dialogs will be reported
   • Always Include Clicked Nodes - if set to Yes then any diagram that has been physically selected from the list (by clicking or double-clicking) in the Publication Set will be included no matter what its diagram type is
6. New properties have been added to the Publication Set General properties Detail section

   They are:

   • Omit Blank Line after Property Value - by default a blank line follows each Property Value in the output
   • Omit Blank Line after Property Title - by default a blank line follows each Property Title in the output
