Casewise Integrator
Casewise Integrator provides capabilities for integrating business process and enterprise architecture information throughout the organization and ensuring that the information is collected, understood and actioned.
There are two main categories when looking at integration:
Executable Knowledge
Executable knowledge involves providing capabilities that allow the architecture to be used in a meaningful manner. The architecture is interpreted by a variety of stakeholders or it is processed as machine readable and used to drive efficient IT in the organization. Therefore, integration is required between enterprise architecture information and the people and systems that can consume the information. Standards such as the Business Process Execution Language, BPMN 2 and XMI are typical standards for information exchange.
Harvesting
Harvesting provides the ability for an organization to have up to date and current information that is key to making any initiative successful. Many enterprise architecture and business process discovery projects fail where information is not kept up to date or is not used by other parts of the organization. Harvesting information from disparate sources is critical as material and knowledge is often stored in multiple documents, spreadsheets, presentations, wikis and systems throughout the organization.
