The Casewise Portal is a complementary module to the Casewise Modeler Suite and connects information, people, systems and devices to the Casewise Modeler Extensible Repository through one easy to use source, via any web browser.

The Portal provides up-to-the-minute dynamic access to models across the enterprise. With no lengthy publication steps or costly overnight builds to be performed, there’s no lag. Decisions can be made instantaneously using the most up-to-date information. Designed to be valuable tool for all, the Casewise Portal is deliberately intuitive to use. Providing accurate and detailed information, rich in functionality and versatility for anyone who needs it. And all without the need for training.

Organizations can even construct bespoke Casewise Modeler applications. Tailoring access, the ability to create, update, read, edit and delete to suit their individual needs. Utilizing the latest Web Services, proven techniques with the latest Microsoft technologies, the Portal is a multi-tier solution. And with the addition of Microsoft Ajax is totally scalable to fit any size organization. Access and distribution to this valuable information can also be controlled. The entire enterprise can be readable by all with unauthenticated access. Alternatively a password-protected mechanism can be introduced, allowing analysts and architects secure access to update the information and data held within the repository in real time.

The Portal offers flexible configuration for data access via a read-only facility for public information, or securely via authenticated access rights. In addition, the Portal supports both existing Casewise Modeler user names and passwords or Windows integrated authentication using directory services or LDAP.
