Casewise Announces Opening of South African Office

New South African location as Casewise further expands its EMEA operation to help better serve the company’s extensive EMEA client base

Casewise has today announced the opening of a new office in Pretoria, South Africa as the company continues to invest in supporting the growth of its EMEA business and further extend its global reach.

Casewise South Africa will serve its ever growing client base within South Africa, Namibia and Swaziland offering localized training, support and enabling consulting services.

According to  the Gartner report Emerging Market Analysis: IT, South Africa, 2010 & Beyond, IT end-user spending in South Africa reached $24.6 billion in 2009 followed by an overall expansion of 6% in 2010. Areas of growth have been software with 8.3%, IT services with 7.7%, computing hardware with 5.5% and telecommunications with 5.4%.

The report continues by highlighting the fact that the enterprise software market in South Africa is forecast to grow from $1.1 billion in 2008 to $1.5 billion in 2013, a CAGR of 6.2% for the period. ERP is the largest software market, having generated around $196 million in 2008, driven by strong manufacturing uptake — some 44% of ERP software revenue comes from the manufacturing sector in South Africa, compared with around 32% in the United Kingdom.
