With the Introduction of CMD2, the Most Comprehensive Software Solution to Support DoDAF 2.0 and DM2 Conformance, Organizations Can Now Realize the Benefits of this Standard.
Casewise Systems, Inc., a leading software & solutions company, has launched a new software solution, Corporate Modeler for DoDAF 2 (CMD2) to support the most current DoD Architecture Standard. CMD2 will officially be unveiled at the DoD Enterprise Architecture Conference in San Antonio, Texas on May 11th.
“We understand the unique challenges DoD organizations face with architecture standardization, conformance and transition” stated Jeff Fraleigh, SVP of Sales and Marketing for Casewise. “Our CMD2 solution provides rich functionality in an intuitive interface that resembles DoDAF 1.5, thus minimizing the effort that the Architect needs to expend to quickly transition to the new standard”.
Chris White, VP Architecture Strategy and Implementation for Casewise added “DoDAF 2.0 is built upon sound principles – new and improved viewpoints, data-centric architecture, fit-for-purpose views and a rigorous yet flexible metamodel”.
Michael Wayson, Architecture, Standards and Interoperability Directorate, OASD (NII) / DoD CIO commented “We were impressed with Casewise’s CMD2 solution because it supports all the DoDAF 2.0 models, is based on the DM2 metamodel and has fit-for-purpose capabilities out of the box”.
White went on to add
“The community has struggled with how to put DoDAF 2.0 into practice. Casewise is now delivering the solutions to make DoDAF 2.0 a reality. Moving forward, we will continue to work with DoD organizations, Systems Integrators and end-users to ensure that CMD2 evolves as their business challenges evolve”
