Zain KSA, the latest GSM mobile operator to launch its commercial services in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market in 2008

After a successful launch, Zain KSA business excellence unit teamed with ITS, a leading system integrator and Casewise partner to build an integrated holistic Enterprise Model consolidating all the organization operational processes and assets into a single repository. The model was mapped to the eTOM framework provided practical views and analytics to be used for supporting all major optimization and improvement initiatives in the organization.

Zain KSA is the latest operator that emerged from a challenging commercial services launch in 2008 in the highly competitive market of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Soon after a successful launch, and in light of the management belief that this operator would stay fit and agile, it was necessary to collect, review and consolidate all the operational processes and build a culture of continues improvement around the organizational learning and experience. The challenge was to find the right partner and the right toolset to enable the building of the holistic approach and the supporting culture around it.

Zain KSA Business Excellence team partnered with ITS Consulting team and selected Casewise Corporate Modeler Suite to build and maintain the required Enterprise Model for Zain KSA. Working together, with all the stakeholders in different departments of Zain KSA they managed to capture all the required information in a single, well connected and integrated repository. Casewise Corporate Modeler enabled the team to create semantics, associations, reports and analytics exactly as needed.

Since adopting the Casewise toolset, Zain KSA are able to:

Among the examples of such initiatives is the partner network sales processes transformation and training, logisitics processes transformation and numerous additional projects.
