The object filter allows you to filter the objects that appear on the grid diagram. You can filter by [P] drop-down list (pick-list) property, [A] associated object or [N] numeric property.
If you choose
not to select properties or associated objects to filter on, ALL the available
properties and associated objects will be displayed in your diagram -
this can lead to busy and unusable diagrams.
To set filters, on the Boston Grid Configuration - Object filter page:
Click Set filter
next to the property or associated object you want to filter.
A new window opens showing the filter options.
Tick the checkbox next to each of the properties
or associated objects you want
to include in the grid.
Note: If you are filtering on a numeric property, enter values
for Min, Max
or both.
If only a Min value is entered,
all objects with a value greater than Min
will show.
If you enter only a Max value,
all objects with a value less than Max
will show.
If you enter both Min and Max values, only objects with a value
between Min and Max
will show.
Click Save.
Click Close window.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each of the properties or associated objects you want to filter
Click Next.
The Boston Grid Configuration - Limits
and Values page is displayed.
