Creating a simulation is via a Simulation Console

Prior to this release (Corporate Modeler 10), simulation was available from the Process Dynamics modeler via the Simulation menu.

Users of Corporate Modeler can now simulate any diagram which has Process Dynamics Rules from a Special "Simulation Console".

To open the simulator:

The diagram you wish to simulate must be open before you can begin.

From the Programs toolbar:

• Click Simulator.

Note:

If the Programs toolbar is not visible in Corporate modeler, it can be opened in the following manner:

• Click View > Toolbars > Programs.

Some notes about simulation

• For the purposes of simulation, connectors that are involved with an XOR Connector Set object must have the category "Optional".
• For the purposes of simulation, connectors that are involved with an AND Connector Set object must have the category "Mandatory".
• Connector Set objects will not be visible when the diagram is opened in the simulator.
