  1. Can images be embedded in Corporate Publisher HTML Output? For instance, can I place a picture in the middle of a description?

    Yes, you can indeed embed images in your HTML output with the following workaround. In any of the text fields in an object properties dialog, type this (i.e. in Corporate Modeler, not in CP):

    [html on] <img scr="image.gif"> [html off]

    Where "image.gif" represents the filename of the image.

  2. In exploding objects, can I explode a process object that will open an EXISTING data flow diagram? I get prompted for a NEW diagram but I do not want this - I want to use an already created diagram that will be opened up automatically when I perform the 'explode' function, not a newly created blank screen. Can this be done?

    Yes, but you need to start from the diagram you want to explode to. Open the diagram properties and on the General tab you will see a field called "Details:" - Open the field's drop-down list and choose "Process" - The field below will be enabled and initially show "None". Open its drop-down list and choose your process. That completes it.

  3. I've just installed the product and started it up. In the Login window it gives the User as ADMIN but I don't know what the password should be.

    No password is required. Just click on OK. You can give ADMIN a password in Repository Explorer.

  4. How can I ensure that users don't remain permanently logged on to Corporate Modeler?

    There is a maximum logon time parameter that can be set by the System Administrator in the Administration view of Repository Explorer. Any user logged on for longer than that time is automatically logged off.
