Corporate Synergy Training

Casewise recommends that all new business and technical users attend this course. The initial 1 day workshop course provides the participants with an understanding of how business problems can be solved using Corporate Synergy. At the end of the day, participants will understand how to processes are created, deployed, changes made and how this has solved the business problem.

The 3 day course is an extention to the 1 day workshop. Users will have a hands on “how to do” using Corporate Synergy, aimed at proving how quickly requirements can be met. The participants will create from “scratch” a process with data capture forms, routing and security permissions. At the end of this, the users will be able to relate what they have completed to the areas in their Company that can be improved.

By the end of this course, the delegate will understand what Corporate Synergy is capable of, how processes are automated using Corporate Synergy, the time and

Description
This 1 day course is intended for users who will be involved in Corporate Synergy projects and in designing processes for automation within Corporate Synergy.  The course covers the capabilities of Corporate Synergy and how processes are automated using Corporate Synergy. Delegates do not need to have any development skills.

  • Unit 1 - An introduction to BPM and Corporate Synergy
  • Unit 2 - The End User’s Perspective
  • Unit 3 - Automating a Process using Corporate Synergy
  • Unit 4 - Advanced capabilities of Corporate Synergy

Developing Corporate Synergy Processes (3 days)

Target Audience

  • IT Developers
  • Technical Project Managers
  • Technically-Oriented Business Analysts

Prerequisites
An understanding of the standard Microsoft web server platform, SQL Server 2005 (including programmability), .NET development (including web service development), web UI design including JavaScript development

Objectives
By the end of this course, the delegate will have a detailed understanding of what Corporate Synergy is capable of, how processes are automated using Corporate Synergy, the time and skills required to configure processes in Corporate Synergy, and to configure complex processes.  The delegate will appreciate how Corporate Synergy can be extended and how Corporate Synergy integrates with external systems.

Description
This 3 day course is intended for users who will be developing processes within Corporate Synergy and integrating Corporate Synergy with external systems. Coding within Corporate Synergy projects is minimal, but it will assist the project if users have capabilities in this area.

Outline Agenda

  • Unit 1 - Building a Workflow:
    The first half of the unit will start with an overview of Corporate Synergy, including building an initial workflow. The second half of the unit will be dedicated to an in-depth of Corporate Synergy’s wizards.
  • Unit 2 - Interfaces:
    The second day will be dedicated to Corporate Synergy’s architecture, technical activities, interfaces, web services and connecting to external systems, databases, Integration and SharePoint.
  • Unit 3 - Administration:
    The third unit will be dedicated to Corporate Synergy’s administration console, database structure, methodology and giving a deeper technical depth and behind the scenes of the system.
  • Unit 4 - Hands-On:
    The fourth unit will be dedicated to building a full Corporate Synergy workflow process by the delegates.
  • Unit 5 - API:
    The last unit will be dedicated to building integration though code and in-depth customized coding
