The Casewise WebModeler co-exists with Casewise’s leading and globally-adopted modeling software the Corporate Modeler Suite. Offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) tool, the Casewise WebModeler eliminates the need to install and run the application on a user’s PC, whilst alleviating the burden of software maintenance, ongoing operation and support.
The result of the SaaS methodology means users can tangibly reduce the costly up-front expense of software purchases, through a lower, on-demand subscription basis. Furthermore, this mechanism allows organizations to easily expand the number and range of users within an enterprise with a number of scalable and valuable licensing options.
WebModeler Technical Infrastructure
Having taken on board the ‘wants and needs’ users would require from an online modeling tool, the Casewise WebModeler grants users the ability to edit existing diagrams and create new diagrams based on pre-defined diagram templates. In terms of functionality, the Casewise WebModeler incorporates a resizing/scaling tool and has a multiple selection option combined with a simple drag and drop facility. An effective magnification tool allows users to zoom in and view detailed areas of complex diagrams. Furthermore, a new navigation window allows users to see exactly where they are in relation to the whole model when working on a magnified section.
Phase 1 of the Casewise WebModeler will see the solution hosted on your infrastructure as a plug-in to the Casewise Portal. Phase 2 will see the solution offered as a zero footprint application accessible online directly through your web browser.
