Functioning as a lifecycle management system and incorporating a planned activity mechanism, the Scheduler is an additional plug-in solution to the Casewise Portal.
The Scheduler works by a sequence of actions driven from an initial trigger event. The owner of a specific process receives an email alert and is required to action the task within a specified period of time. When clicked, a URL contained within the email alert directs the process owner through to the Portal and presents the specific controls and questions that need to be answered. The process owner simply answers the questions and submits the response, which is automatically directed to the individual with overall responsibility for the project. The project manager is then able to verify the answers and authorize the update of the Corporate Exchange database. Activities can be scheduled to occur on regular intervals, as frequently as required and can be planned far in advance.
Since its inception, the Scheduler has been utilized for a variety of different purposes including risk management, corporate governance, compliance management, regulatory affairs, auditing purposes or any project management scenario.
