Casewise positioned in Leaders' Quadrant - Gartner BPA MQ report

London, UK - 05 July 2007

Casewise, a leading Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Analysis and IT Governance software company today announced that it has been positioned in the leader's quadrant in the recently published Gartner BPA MQ (Business Process Analysis Tools Magic Quadrant) report.

With business process analysis tools continuing to play a strategic role within organizations, business managers, process architects and process analysts are constantly seeking to better understand, streamline and automate business processes and communicate their needs to IT professionals.

Casewise’ Corporate Modeler Suite consists of a graphical modeling and simulation toolset, plus an extensive portfolio of enterprise architecture templates and methodological frameworks. Together, these components make it possible for organizations to rapidly visualize, analyze and optimize all areas of their business.

Business process architects admire the large number pre-defined process models and best practices frameworks such as ITIL, NETA, eTOM, Mrasco, CobIT 3 & 4, SCOR and SAP® R/3 on offer.

The extensive Casewise library also supports a wide range of enterprise architecture and IT frameworks and methodologies including Zachman Framework, TOGAF, FEAF, C4ISR/DODAF, Archimate, UML, BPMN, IDEF0, Merise, Rational Unified Process/RUP and Catalyst (CSC methodology).

Casewise has also introduced an innovative solution to managing the complex overlaps between multiple Regulatory Compliances, ISO Standards and Best Practice frameworks known as 'Compliance Cartography'. This Casewise solution not only delivers out-of-the-box pre-packed models, but also provides its users with fully cross-referenced, harmonized and unified views of multiple regimes thereby accelerating the understanding, documentation and communication of complex BPA and IT Governance mapping initiatives.

Casewise models are stored in an ‘extensible’ (customizable) repository, allowing them to be shared by teams of modelers across an enterprise. Corporate Modeler incorporates service-oriented architecture (SOA) best practice models and diagramming support along with interfaces to reverse engineer SAP implementations. The product also serves bridges to BPM solutions like BEA AquaLogic, IBM WebSphere Process Server, Microsoft Biztalk and Oracle BPEL Process Manager.

Ray Pearman, Casewise CEO commented “We are delighted to be recognized by Gartner in the leader's quadrant within the 2007 Gartner Business Process Analysis Tools Magic Quadrant. We believe this further supports Casewise’ renowned reputation along with its global vision for Casewise products and solutions to become a necessary part of organizational operating processes worldwide”.
